Recently, I was at Costco and picked up the Thai Style Coconut Chicken. Initially, I was debating whether to buy it since I'm not a fan of frozen food. However, as I looked through the package, it stated "No Preservatives" and "Without Antibiotics," which surprised me. I decided to purchase it and keep it for those days when I am too lazy to cook.
From the Kevin Natural Foods website about the product.
This mild but flavorful curry will make a great meal for the entire family! Tender chicken breast strips in a rich and creamy blend of coconut milk, basil and Thai spices.
Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast (Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast, Water, Vinegar, Sea Salt, Yeast Extract, Citrus Extract, Granulated Garlic, Granulated Onion, Spices), Thai Coconut Sauce (Coconut Milk [Coconut Cream, Water], Water, Coconut Sugar, Coconut Nectar, Tapioca Starch, Coconut Oil, Lime Juice Concentrate, Spices, Ginger, Dehydrated Onion, Dehydrated Garlic, Sea Salt, Yeast Extract [Yeast Extract, Salt, Natural Flavor], Basil, Lemongrass Puree [Lemongrass, Water], Sunflower Oil, Turmeric, Sunflower Lecithin, Xanthan Gum, Citric Acid, Monkfruit Extract).
I finally got a chance to try it and it was good. The chicken was soft and proper as well as the flavors. It did not taste like a frozen meal. It was very easy to make and it was not spicy.
The package contains 2 packets of dice chicken and 2 packets for Thai Curry Sauce. It does not include rice.
Thumbs up will buy again. For 13.99 definitely worth it for the taste and value.
Please let us know what you think of the Thai Style Coconut Chicken from Costco and if you have any suggestions.
