When you purchase a ticket on the DesiFormal site, Paypal handles the payment transaction. We do not store or retain your credit card information.
Our site serves as a listing service, where event organizers can list and sell their tickets. When a ticket is purchased, the payment transaction will be handled by Paypal and Stripe. We chose to have Paypal/Stripe handle the transaction because it is secure and protects buyers. Sellers need to have a registered email with Paypal to collect payment. We charge the seller for each ticket sold, not the buyer.
